Freeman S. Hall
Freeman S. Hall, President, has 20 years of experience developing and delivering innovative business solutions. In 2006 prior to founding Solar Electric Solutions, Mr. Hall was hired by Ted Turner to develop an investment strategy for renewables. He then led the search and acquisition of New Jersey based solar integrator, DT Solar. After the acquisition in 2007, Mr. Hall joined the company, renamed Turner Renewable Energy, to develop the company's capability to offer Power Purchase Agreements. Mr. Hall served as Vice President of Project Finance and Corporate Development for Turner Renewable Energy (TRE) before the company was sold to First Solar in 2007. Previously Mr. Hall spent six years as a management consultant for Andersen Consulting's Strategic Services practice and for clients such as DuPont. Mr. Hall holds a BA from Duke University, and an MBA with distinction from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
MICHAEL J. STERN
Michael J. Stern, COO, has over 30 years of experience managing the engineering and construction of grid-tied solar electricity generating systems. He has been a successful senior executive in the solar energy industry since 1985, serving as President of Western Gas & Electric Company, CEO of Utility Power Group, and VP Utility Projects for Kyocera Solar. Prior to these senior management positions, Mr. Stern held supervisory and engineering positions with ARCO Solar Industries (now SolarWorld AG) and International Rectifier Corp. Mr. Stern earned a BS in Materials Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has been issued several U.S. Patents for his work in advancing PV systems technology..
